The Cure are officially the biggest band in the UK at the moment. Over decades they have built up a catalogue of amazing work, and their latest album (16 years in gestation) is their most majestic and culturally relevant yet. It was a privilege to review their live gig at Troxy, where they played Songs of a Lost World in its entirety. See BLOG for my MOJO review.
The Liverbirds were the UK's first female rock n' roll band, emerging from 1960s Liverpool at the same time as The Beatles. It was an honour working as a writing partner with drummer Sylvia Saunders and bassist Mary McGlory on their memoir. See BLOG for my recent feature and a link to the book!
